This week’s Time Travel Tuesday takes us back to a truly memorable year — 2006.
With sunshine overhead and plenty of good humour, our Patron joined us for a special open‑air ceremony at RAF Fairford. But 2006 was remarkable for another reason too: it was a year of extraordinary generosity.
During the ceremony, British Airways High Flight, the British Women Pilots’ Association (BWPA), scholar Louise Scotter, and the Kidlington Air Cadets all made substantial donations to FSDP — alongside our long‑standing traditional sponsors. Their support helped us continue opening doors, building confidence and transforming lives through the power of flight.
FSDP simply couldn’t do what we do without the commitment of our incredible sponsors and supporters, many of whom have stood by us for years.
