Today at Sherburn Aero Club, we witnessed exactly what partnership in action looks like.
Scholars Gavin and Matt have recently taken to the skies with flying instructor Glenn and took time today out to share their experiences with two very special guests — Mark Sugden and Peter Szertes from the Mark Long Trust – whilst supported by FSDP Ambassador Alek Kroll.
The Mark Long Trust has generously sponsored Gavin’s scholarship, and seeing them on the airfield today made the connection even more meaningful. Their ethos mirrors ours: creating opportunities for disabled people to experience the freedom of flight, build confidence, and open doors to new possibilities.
