On Monday 13th October, East Midlands Universities Air Squadron welcomed Steve Robinson BEM as guest speaker at their first Town Night of the year.
The Squadron provides aspiring RAF aviators with professional development, leadership training, and flying opportunities aspiring RAF aviators studying at the Squadron’s affiliated Universities. There was no better way to kick off the year than with Steve’s powerful message:
“Anything is possible.”
Steve’s journey is nothing short of remarkable. After completing his FSDP Flying Scholarship, he went on to earn his Private Pilot Licence, rebuild his confidence, and inspire countless others to follow their dreams. Today, as an FSDP Ambassador, he continues to motivate future aviators and shares his story at FSDP selections each year.
His talk ended with rapturous applause — a true reminder that determination and resilience can take you anywhere.
