Today we celebrate the birthday of our incredible scholar, Abi Evans. Diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome in 2020, Abi’s journey was transformed when she received her FSDP Flying Scholarship in 2022, proudly sponsored by The Red Arrows Trust.
Since then, Abi has soared far beyond the skies:
• Featured in Amazon Prime’s Dare to Defy alongside Paralympic Gold Medalist Richard Whitehead MBE and broadcaster Adele Roberts
• Invited onto the Chris Evans Breakfast Show
• Inspired her family, friends, and supporters to raise funds for the Abi Evans “Do What You Can’t” Scholarship, ensuring future scholars can follow in her path
Abi embodies the spirit of FSDP – proving that ability, determination, and community can truly change lives.
So today, we wish Abi the happiest of birthdays and say a heartfelt thank you for all she has done to champion FSDP and inspire others.
