Today we’re delighted to celebrate Tim, who — together with the late Paul Bowen — founded FSDP while they were Directors of RIAT. Their vision was born from a desire to honour the life and legacy of Group Captain Sir Douglas Bader, whose courage, determination, and belief in possibility continue to inspire generations.
What began as a tribute has grown into more than 40 years of life‑changing opportunity. Tim’s passion, leadership, and unwavering commitment still guide FSDP today, helping disabled people discover confidence, independence, and the joy of flight.
