In 2000, the RIAT airshow temporarily moved to RAF Cottesmore while the runway and taxiways at RAF Fairford were being repaired. That year’s awards ceremony took place entirely in the open air — and even the unpredictable British weather couldn’t dampen the moment.
We were honoured to be joined by Queen Noor, who came to celebrate the achievements of our 2000 scholars and share in the spirit of determination and possibility that defines FSDP.
